| Latest News November 2009 - Want a free audit of your computer systems? No problem! July 2009 - Even our competitors are writing to us! April 2009 - It appears our competitors are charging more that we charge but not providing a comparable service February 2009 - Maintenance prices reduced AGAIN! In an effort to help clients through the credit crunch that is affecting us all we have made a temporary permanent reduction to our maintenance charges. Before these changes we were offering some of the lowest prices in the area, now we doubt you will find anybody offering a comparable service anywhere near our prices! January 2009 - Out of London maintenance clients now get free non-critical time ('Support hours') included free of charge! June 2008 - Maintenance price reduced to help offset the pain caused by the global credit crunch and to encourage people to make better use of existing equipment, not only reducing costs but also (in a very small way) helping to save the planet too. April 2008 - This section has been introduced to keep you up to date with new developments such as the support ticket system we have introduced. 1/11/09 - Free audit offer Something we have always done but never really advertised is to offer any potential client a free audit of their computer systems (Up to 20 PCs). This gives us an opportunity to get to know them and their systems a little better and of course gives them the opportunity to get to know us and the sort of service we provide. If this is something you would be interested in then please contact us to arrange it! We have seen too many 'free' offers that turn out to be anything but free - 'Sure we'll do the work for free but we do make a travelling/subsistence charge' - That's not free then! Or maybe 'Yep, it's a free service....providing you enter into a long-term relationship' - to our way of thinking that's not free either! When we use the word free we really do mean free - no cost, no obligation, no commitment, no 'expenses' - total cost to you is zero. Zilch. Nada. Nothing. No matter how you look at it, it's a free offer! 1/7/09 - Interesting email! Last week we received an email from a company offering the same sort of service that we do. Checking the email we can see that they are offering to cover a server for £58/month (We charge £36) and a workstation for £14.20 (We charge £12). Their pricing on a single server with 5 workstations is £129, ours would be £100 as that is our minimum monthly charge. It's always good to know that we are better value than the competition, it was nice of them to write to us offering to cover our network :) 1/4/09 - Are you paying over the odds for IT support? We have recently taken on a new client who has been paying far more than we charge and for a service that does not measure up to what we offer, this has made us question how many other companies there are that might be in the same situation but don't change as they don't know that there are alternatives available. The client is local to us and responded to one of our local advertisements. They have been paying £320/month for a maximum of 10hrs/month to be offset against resolving problems - this was not a guaranteed 10hrs work each month, if they had no problems then they had no benefit! After the 10hrs were used they were expected to pay £50/hr regardless of the severity of the problem. These charges did not include any 'non-urgent' time which was also charged at £50/hr. After talking with them about their expectations and a (Free) assessment of their network we were able to offer them a deal at less than 50% of what they were paying including not only unlimited (Within reason) time resolving problems but also 2hrs a month to use as they wish - moving equipment, training, etc. - all things that are usually excluded from maintenance agreements. 1/2/09 - Maintenance prices reduced again! From today and until at least 1st May, all 'out of London' clients (Both new and existing) will now benefit from the following maintenance charge reductions: PC Charges - down by 33% Server charges - down by 20% This means that a typical network of 10 PC's and a single server reduces from £195/month to £156/month, a saving of 20% over our pre-Christmas prices and over 38% against our 2007 prices. Don't forget we are now also including free support time for maintenance clients as well (See news item immediately below this one), meaning we are even better value for money. This is not a permanent offer but will be good until at least 1/5/09 after which time we will review it and either end the offer or renew if for a further 3 month period. Any new clients that take advantage of this offer will remain at these prices until at least the end of 2009 but will benefit if prices are further reduced. Existing clients will benefit from these prices until at least the end of 2009 but will benefit if prices are further reduced. These savings apply to all clients both old and new who are outside of London or other travel charge areas. Unfortunately, due to ever increasing travel costs we cannot include London or other areas that would otherwise incur a travel charge within this offer. Request a copy of our maintenance charge calculator here and see for yourself the great value we offer! 1/1/09 - Free time now included for all maintenance clients As from 1st January 2009 we are including an element of non-critical time ('Support hours') for all 'Out of London' maintenance clients. This does not alter the hours we will work resolving problems (still unlimited within reason) but does mean that work that may otherwise have been chargeable (such as installing a new PC or printer) will now be included within the cost of the maintenance agreement. Telephone support remains free for all clients and potential clients - and if you are not in the 1st group then you are in the 2nd one! All 'out of London' clients will benefit from the following maintenance charge reductions: PC Charges - down by 16% Server charges - down by a HUGE 37.5% This means that a typical network of 10 PC's and a single server reduces from £252/month to £195/month, a saving of almost 23%. These savings apply to all clients both old and new who are outside of London or other travel charge areas. Unfortunately, due to ever increasing travel costs we cannot include London or other areas that would otherwise incur a travel charge within this offer. You can access the new system here, raising a ticket generates an email for us and we will then contact you to resolve the problem. making it ideal for those 'next time you are here' type of calls :) | ||
